Shealy for Senate Statement on Knotts’ Attempts to Keep Her from the Ballot

“We won’t back down in this fight.”

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Shealy for Senate campaign issued the following statement on Jake Knotts’ attempts to keep her from the ballot:

“Jake Knotts knows he can’t win a fair fight.

Jake Knotts’ ethics problems are well known.  Congressman Wilson asked him to resign.  His closeness to liberal Democrats and liberal votes, shown in earning an F rating from the conservative Club for Growth, have infuriated conservative voters.  Voters are flocking to businesswoman Katrina Shealy.

He can’t win at the ballot box.  That is why Jake Knotts is trying to use the courts to win.

The Republican Party of South Carolina has endorsed our right to the ballot.  We won’t back down in this fight.”
